Cubicles.com -- a small and fast growing provider of office furniture and related services to corporate America - seeks an individual with the ability to interpret, create, and educate.
We are currently seeking one gifted and visionary individual to join our team of space planners and corporate interior designers to engage prospects and win customers.
CAREER DESCRIPTION:
As a space planner/designer you will work hand in hand with clients and prospective clients.
You will listen, create and communicate unified design solutions.
You will work with raw open spaces as well as fully developed architectural plans.
You will interpret the client needs and wants in the broader context of their projects space, time and budgetary realities.
You will establish a professional customer-is-king rapport that wins their hearts and influences their loyalty.
You will work with state-of-the-art industry specific software to design, specify and quote projects large and small. Your project bid presentations will WOW!
You will -- with the support of others -- act as sales and project manager on projects for which you take the lead.
You will earn bonus commissions for the projects brought to fruition (closed) under your watchful and attentive eye.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to succeed and understands the distinction between design that may change the world and design that embraces the reality of business economics. Our focus is on the latter.
YOUR SKILL SET:
You should be maximally efficient using the tools of the trade:
Auto CAD, GIZA and/or similar (RIVET) drafting/designing software Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) 3D Modeling; Revit, Rhino, 3D Max or similar Free Hand Drafting/Sketching Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook The WWW

COMPENSATION:
Like all things compensation is relative to what you bring to the table.
Base starting salary commensurate with experience, ability, expertise.
